Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:
Minimum of $279,200 salary per year
Maximum of $383,900 salary per year
In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.

- Create an environment that encourages bold, transformative ideas and data-driven decision-making, leveraging cross-functional collaboration to accelerate innovation.
- Contribute significantly to technology & product roadmaps and standards in collaboration with key partners and global industry leaders, ensuring alignment with future trends and technological shifts.
- Create opinion leadership regarding technology / product trends - both Infineon internal and amongst the industry - through thought leadership
- Build and strengthen relationships with executive management and external stakeholders to represent divisional core competencies and ensure alignment with broader corporate goals.
- Lead the intellectual property (IP) strategy, ensuring the protection, development, and exploitation of IP assets to maintain competitive advantage and drive new business opportunities.
- Make critical system architecture decisions with high-level impact and ensure their successful implementation across multiple teams and departments.
- Mentor and develop talents within the team, sharing knowledge, providing career guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Promote patent creation and enhance the company's reputation through thought leadership, technical publications, keynote presentations, and industry involvement at trade shows and conferences.
- Solve mission-critical problems by applying a combination of technical expertise and innovative thinking, driving continuous improvement efforts to ensure quality leadership and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate structured problem-solving, root cause analysis, and ensure lessons are learned from deviations, embedding these practices into the team's culture for future resilience.
Your Profile:
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Extensive expertise (10-15 years min) in system architecture innovation, within robotics or solar photovoltaics, with a proven ability to translate system requirements into innovative products and technology solutions.
- Professional experience working directly for one of Infineon's customers within these two segments rather than coming from IFX competitors.
- Demonstrated track record of having taken several technologies from an idea to an end-product and a highly technical education (Masters/PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Physics or similar.
- Proven ability to make strategic technical decisions, leading multi-disciplinary teams and spearheading the development of an effective IP strategy to safeguard the company's innovation.
- Experience shaping and influencing industry trends, with active contributions to industry roadmaps, standards committees, and technical consortia.
- Strong track record in mentoring and talent development, cultivating high-performing teams that drive innovation and foster a collaborative, dynamic work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex, mission-critical problems and implement continuous improvement initiatives, driving operational excellence and long-term business impact.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills, with experience building and maintaining relationships at the executive level, as well as with key industry players.
- 10+ years of experience in system architecture, ideally within industries like robotics, semiconductors, power systems, or photovoltaics, with a strong ability to translate system requirements into innovative products and technology solutions.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams, managing high-stakes projects, and demonstrating leadership in both technical and strategic aspects of business growth and innovation.
