We are Builder, Issues & Discovery Services, providing software platforms, web services and web apps used by more than 150,000 unique internal users every day. We own the core software applications and services that Amazon and AWS use to collaborate, monitor, engage, and manage all of software events, agile deliveries, projects, programs, and business processes across the entire company.

Key job responsibilities

As a PMT, you will drive the vision for AIM software solutions and drive teams that will execute and deliver on those visions. These solutions are critical to the success of all business units across Amazon globally from both a near-term and long-term standpoint.
This position requires a proactive, highly motivated PMT with an aptitude for critical thinking, process improvement, and demonstrable history of building and managing critical applications.
This role will have a significant role in defining and delivering UX/UI components.
In this role, you will set the vision, tenets, strategy, and roadmap for your space.
This will include interacting with customers, business and technical resources to identify enhancements, prioritize work streams, and manage changes in applications.

A day in the life

As a Product Manager-Technical, you'll bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Your day involves translating complex requirements into actionable specifications, collaborating closely with engineering teams, and making data-driven decisions about product features. You'll work with stakeholders across engineering, UX, and partner teams. Your deep technical understanding helps you prioritize the backlog effectively, while ensuring scalability and performance. You'll need to balance tactical execution with strategic product vision, all while keeping user needs at the forefront.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience with end to end product delivery

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

- 5+ years experience working with internal customer and technical teams to collect requirements and define software services and features

- 5+ years' experience defining and delivering a roadmap; demonstrated ability to influence strategic product direction

- Experience in researching, defining, testing, and measuring UX/UI experiences.

- Strong written and oral communication skill and experience presenting to senior Leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
