Description:
Position Summary: This Scrum Master will provide day-to-day hands-on team oversight and management of various projects in support of product technology development. The Scrum Master will have in-depth knowledge and experience with complex IT solutions, Agile and Scrum Methodology, a proven track record of delivering, and will serve as a key resource within the team to ensure overall success of the project deliverables.

Physical demands and work environment: Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
Employees will report to the office two to three days each week.
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. Base salary will be determined by the role, experience, skill set and location. For eligible positions, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded contingent on personal and company performance. Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Scrum Master Certification
- 4 to 7 years' Scrum Master or IT Management experience in analysis, design, development, documentation, implementation and testing of software systems in Technology/Financial Services
- Expert Knowledge and proficiency in executing and overseeing: Management of Daily standups, Backlog grooming, Retrospectives, Sprint Demos, Sprint Planning, PI Planning, oversight and management of all Sprint ceremonies
- Extensive knowledge and experience in JIRA including understanding and use of JIRA Workflows and functionalities
- Strong "hands-on" technology project management skills
- Proven experience leading Cross-Product Agile Teams on large-scale Infrastructure and Tech Debt deliverables
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work cross-organizationally to ensure overall success of product technology deliverables
- Ability to develop and manage project financial plans and budgets including resource allocation
- Tools: SharePoint, Microsoft Project, JIRA, MS Office Suite, Confluence, MIRO
- Ability to establish a 'way of working' across teams to ensure success
- Ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Expertise in driving multiple parallel projects including oversight and management of cross-product/cross-team initiatives
- Successful track record of delivering large scale complex projects & initiatives
- Demonstrates commitment to excellence by anticipating needs, mitigating risks and minimizing potential problems
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Qualifications desired:
- RTE (Release Train Engineer) - 2 years' experience
- SAFe Certification
- Banking and payments experience, especially knowledge of Image, SWIFT, FED, CHIPS or ACH
- Hands-on working experience with CA PPM (Clarity)
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for promoting Agile product delivery by facilitating tasks across the scrum team needed to deliver the product.
- Lead and Manage Cross-Product initiatives impacting multiple scrum teams
- Ensuring progress and obstacles are communicated to the product owner
- Finalize PI plan (including capacity, load, draft PI objectives, test plan, risks and dependencies)
- Schedule and conduct all required Agile Sprint and PI ceremonies
- Conduct sprint planning, backlog grooming, create/track/manage issue creation in JIRA, including dependencies
- Verify Entry and Exit criteria are met for each user story/issue
- Manage Jira board, schedule scrum agile cadences, and maintain Confluence document repository
- Evaluate and Report Team Metrics using JIRA analytics, or other analytics-based tool(s)
- Conduct daily Stand Ups and update Jira board
- Correlate and coordinate dependencies across user stories to ensure successful releases, including meeting essential tollgates
- Conduct Sprint Demos and Sprint Retrospectives
- In collaboration with Product Management and Operations & Technology, manage deliverables through their complete lifecycle
- Assist with documentation, User Story creation, develop detailed project plans; identify and assign tasks, roles, and responsibilities
- Track milestones and dependencies, ensure on-time completion of tasks from all groups
- Proactively identify, mitigate and resolve risks and issues
- Ensure PMO/Agile Service Management processes are followed, including that all relevant artifacts are produced and filed properly, and on time
- Manage and report on project financials
- Create and file weekly status reports and communicate issues in a timely manner
- Ensure timely delivery of all project/scrum deliverables
- Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned
