Description

The Systems Analyst, Finishing will work in a dynamic, team oriented environment, leveraging strong technical skills to ensure the effective day-to-day operations of the Finishing team and related systems. Provides technical end-user support for all levels of the organization. The Analyst will report to the VP, IT + Security.

What You'll Do

• Ensure daily operations and maintenance of media systems and audio systems.
• Provide technical support for DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, Avid Pro Tools, and other media editing software, ensuring smooth operation across multiple platforms.
• Troubleshoot issues for all end-users, including user security policy implementation and
• remote support.
• Prepare and manage backups and archiving processes for Finishing content and related systems.
• Design, install, and maintain equipment and software to fit into existing and new infrastructures. Ensure that all post-production systems and infrastructure are implemented within the larger scope of the company's overall systems and consider company-wide solutions.
• Develop and optimize media and audio workflows.
• Collaborate with AV Operational-support and creative teams to drive efficiencies in the prepping of finishing materials and projects.
• Provide technical support for Pro Tools and all related systems
• Stay updated with the latest software updates, firmware revisions, and specialized hardware drivers.
• Perform system and server maintenance as needed, including updates, restarts, and configurations.
• Manage hardware and software inventory.
• Research new technologies, solutions, and workflow processes to enhance Finishing operations and drive innovations in post-production systems
• Train end users on the proper and effective use of Finishing related tools and workflows.
• Track all tasks and requests through an in-house helpdesk ticketing system.
• Provide desktop support as needed, including installing, testing, and maintaining various hardware and software programs.
• Assist with security requests, such as access cards and secure workflow troubleshooting.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Media Composer, Pro Tools, Adobe Premiere, Nexis Storage, other media editing software and hardware.
• Familiarity with Mac OS X and Windows Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of graphics applications such as Adobe Suite, Maya, Cinema 4D, Nuke, and Final Cut Studio.
• Minimum 3+ years of progressive experience within a creative, entertainment, marketing, or media company preferred.
• Ability to produce and provide proper documentation and diagrams of various environments and projects.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with a basic understanding of desktop and network issues.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to adapt to rapid technological changes and make decisions requiring interpretation and judgment.
• Clean driving record, proof of insurance, and a current CA driver's license.

Compensation + Benefits

Annual salary: $90,000 - $120,000 - The final salary offered will be dependent on factors such as experience, location and budget.

Hybrid schedule; minimum two days per week of remote work.
