We are seeking a highly skilledand experienced Controller to oversee the financial operations of Dr.MobiCare. This role is pivotal in maintaining financial integrity,managing multiple entities under our corporate umbrella, and ensuringcompliance with healthcare regulations. We are seeking a highly skilledand experienced Controller to oversee the financial operations of Dr.MobiCare. The Controller will workclosely with the CFO to develop financial strategies, implementpolicies, and streamline accounting operations. This is a full-time,in-office position requiring a deep understanding of healthcarefinance and multi-entity accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accountingfunctions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll,and general ledger management.
- Ensure timely and accuratefinancial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annualfinancial statements.
- Manage financial operationsacross multiple entities, consolidating financial data for executivereview.
- Develop and maintaininternal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatorycompliance.
- Work closely with the CFO todevelop financial strategies, budgets, and forecasting models.
- Implement processimprovements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financialreporting.
- Coordinate audits and taxfilings, liaising with external auditors and tax professionals.
- Monitor cash flow, managebanking relationships, and optimize financial performance.
- Ensure compliance withfederal and state healthcare regulations, including reimbursementpolicies and financial reporting standards.
- Support the CFO in financialdecision-making and strategic planning.
- Develop and enforceaccounting policies and procedures to improve operationalefficiency.
- Analyze financialperformance trends and provide insights to drive cost optimizationand profitability.
- Oversee financial riskmanagement, including contract review and financial due diligence.
- Assist in mergers,acquisitions, and financial integrations related to companyexpansion.
- Work with department headsto create and monitor department-specific budgets and cost controlmeasures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience inaccounting or finance, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Strong experience managingfinancials for multiple entities under a single corporate structure.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP,financial reporting, and healthcare compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in accountingsoftware and financial management tools.
- Exceptional analyticalskills with a strategic mindset.
- Strong leadership andcommunication skills with the ability to collaborate acrossdepartments.
- Detail-oriented with aproactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with revenuecycle management and healthcare reimbursement processes.
- Ability to handle complexfinancial models and analyze large datasets to support strategicinitiatives.
- Strong project managementskills to drive process improvements and system implementations.
- Knowledge of taximplications related to healthcare organizations and multi-entitystructures.
- Ability to train and mentorjunior finance staff, fostering a high-performing finance team.
Compensation:
- Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 dependent onexperience and qualifications.
