Job Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Job Specialty: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 9-hour nights, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM - 6:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Valid driver's license required
Certifications: ARRT, BLS
Must-Have: Experience in both CT and X-ray
Job Description:
- Department is equipped with 2 CT scanners and 3 X-ray rooms.
- Duties include performing CT angiograms (CTAs) and biopsies.
- May be required to float and cover X-ray areas.
- Use of Siemens equipment.
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records and McKesson PACS.
- Lead technologist present on each shift.
- Cyclic scheduling with varied shift start times for 8, 9, 10, and 12-hour shifts.
- Weekend and holiday work is required.
- Position may include on-call duties, with response time requirements.
- One week of department-specific orientation provided, scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
- Rotation Time Off requests must be submitted upfront; additional requests will not be approved post-submission.
Prospective candidates must reside outside the 50-mile radius and must not have worked directly with associated facilities within the past year. This is a care setting in an acute environment, with a trauma level of 3.
