Position Overview: We are actively seeking a compassionate and driven Physician Assistant to join our dynamic neurosurgery team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality care to patients throughout their surgical journey. Your contributions will directly impact patient recovery and satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed patient assessments, including comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
  • Collaborate closely with neurosurgeons in the operating room, assisting with various surgical procedures.
  • Formulate and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Provide thorough post-operative care, including monitoring vital signs and managing recovery protocols.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and post-operative care instructions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, offering insights and updates on patient progress.
  • Conduct hospital rounds one weekend a month, ensuring consistent patient care and support.


Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Valid Physician Assistant license in Georgia.
  • A solid background in neurosurgery, neurology, or orthopedic spine care is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Exceptional communication abilities and a proactive approach to patient interaction.
  • Willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
