CMHA Ontario's Your Health Space (YHS) program supports health care organizations across Ontario to improve mental health in the workplace through live workshops and self-directed modules. YHS embraces the holistic view that psychological health and safety in the workplace takes the collective effort of employees across all levels of an organization. The YHS program is offered to leaders, health care workers, and support staff working in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home and community care settings. Through this program, health care workers can learn to recognize and manage symptoms of chronic workplace stress and connect with colleagues through facilitated discussions.
Job Summary
CMHA Ontario is seeking an experienced Manager, Training and Quality Assurance (QA) for the Your Health Space (YHS) program. Reporting to the Director of Your Health Space, the Manager, Training and Quality Assurance (QA) will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality delivery of Your Health Space training by maintaining curriculum fidelity and developing processes to support trainer effectiveness. This includes the development and implementation of a Peer Feedback program to promote ongoing improvement among trainers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training quality assurance, leadership skills in managing a team of trainers and coordinators, a commitment to continuous improvement in adult learning, and a comprehensive understanding of facilitation best practices.

Salary
Hiring Rate: Based on experience, this position pays between $85,500.00 and $88,500.00 per annum, based on a 35-hour work week.
Working Conditions
This is a permanent full-time, management, non-bargaining position, working standard office hours (currently 35 hours/week). This position is based in Toronto, Ontario, but will allow for remote work for qualified candidates outside of the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario. The position requires regular travel, possibly requiring overnight stay.
This position is also a desk job with extended periods of sitting, reading, telephone interaction, and working at the computer. This position involves some moderate lifting, shipping, and handling. Attendance at various meetings throughout the workday/workweek will be required; meetings may occur on short notice, depending on the circumstances.
As a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to maintain and submit proof of full COVID-19 vaccination.

Core Responsibilities
Strategic Management and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Support the Director, Your Health Space in the development, execution, and advancement of a strategic vision for the YHS Program, including assisting in strategically positioning the program within the healthcare sector, while considering best practices to meet the mental health needs of Ontario's healthcare workers.
- Build a network of relationships and establish partnerships both internally and externally with Program partners, supports engagement strategies, and participate in relevant events and conferences to promote and grow brand recognition of the program.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that business needs are being met, including liaising with internal resource positions (e.g., Government Relations Lead, etc.) to enhance the overall program quality and reach.
Quality Assurance & Fidelity of Curriculum Delivery:
- Ensure that all training sessions are delivered in accordance with the established curriculum and program objectives, maintaining fidelity to content and structure.
- Regularly monitor and support trainers to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery of training materials and methods.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the overall training experience for YHS Trainers and Ontario Health Care Workers alike.
Peer Feedback Program Development:
- Design and implement a Peer Feedback program that encourages collaboration and shared learning among trainers.
- Facilitate a system for trainers to provide constructive, actionable feedback to one another to improve training techniques and delivery.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and support trainers in incorporating peer feedback into their practice.
Team Management:
- Supervise, mentor and provide day-to-day management to a team of Trainers, Regional Coordinator & Trainers, and Administrative Assistant and Training Scheduler ensuring staff have the resources, guidance, and support needed to deliver high-quality training.
- Provide coaching and performance management, supporting team members' success and continuous development.
- Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment with program goals, address challenges, and share best practices.
- Support the trainers in delivering high-quality workplace mental health training, both in-person and virtually, by providing coaching and mentorship to trainers to enhance their effectiveness and ensure adherence to program standards.
- Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the training team.
- Foster an environment of ongoing professional development for Your Health Space Trainers, providing opportunities for growth and training in new methodologies and content areas.
- Actively participate in the recruitment, selection, and talent management of employees, helping to manage vacancies and new positions.
Program Development and Evaluation:
- In conjunction with the YHS Senior Manager, Operations, support an evaluation strategy for the Program, including working with evaluation partners to monitor evaluation results and ensure continuous quality improvement.
Operational and Administrative Oversight:
- Manage project plans for the Program, including schedules, budgets, and achievement of program goals and objectives.
- Develop and monitor Standards of Practice specific to YHS training to ensure seamless delivery.
- Support the YHS Senior Strategic Communications Advisor to develop materials and share activity updates with stakeholders.
- Actively participate in internal meetings, training and professional development, as part of the CMHA Ontario team.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on program performance, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with program standards, as well as best practices related to workplace mental health and training.

Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training, quality assurance, or program support within an educational or organizational development setting.
- Demonstrated success in people management, including leading, building and motivating a strong team.
- Ability to effectively gather, synthesize, assess and respond to issues using analysis and creative thinking to drive continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a remote team; management experience in a unionized environment is an asset.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and best practices for ensuring fidelity of curriculum delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to design and manage a peer feedback program to enhance trainer performance and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with a diverse team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and needs.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes, adult learning principles, and facilitation best practices is required.
