Focused on business and operations in the Oil & Gas industry, the PA Services Supervisor reports into the Financial Applications function at Canadian Natural. You will be part of a diverse, multi-disciplinary team of subject matter experts who work together to ensure business users are supported and the Property Accounting system is running smoothly with configurations being accurate, complete, and effective. Through ad-hoc data requests and process improvement initiatives you will support various functions across Canadian Natural's business units, including, GHG teams, Information Systems, Property Accounting, Joint Venture Accounting.

Focused on business and operations in the Oil & Gas industry, the PA Services Supervisor reports into the Financial Applications function at Canadian Natural. - Job location: Calgary, Alberta - In-Office (No Hybrid)
- Shift schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hours/day

Key Accountabilities:
- Supervise team members responsible for supporting the property accounting department and their associated applications, including designing and testing Progressive Web Applications, various Power BI, SSRS and Excel reports used for operational purposes
- Supervise team members responsible for setup, maintenance, and amendments of Facility Charges, Royalties and New Well Setups in the PA System
- Provide direction and guidance on projects and initiatives related to key internal processes, controls and applications (i.e. Process Automations for PA, Intricate application requirements, Automated DOI updates, etc.)
- Provide direction and guidance on GHG Reporting which includes:
- Annual OneStop Methane Emission Reporting (and resulting AER inspection analysis and response)
- Methane Emissions Reduction Targets Reporting
- Tier Aggregate Data Requests for Reporting, Accruals and Carbon Tax Allocations
- Scope 3 emission reporting
- Ongoing ad-hoc requests from Operations, Environmental Ops, and other departments
- Identify opportunities for improvement in the usage of PA applications to the user community and work with stakeholders to execute and deliver projects
- Work with end-users through senior leadership and confidently present complex concepts clearly in easily understandable terms
What You Bring to the Role:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Financial Accounting or other related areas is considered an asset
- Understanding of system configuration and development cycles with the ability to transform user requirements to functional specifications and test plans
- Preference will be given to individuals with previous Supervisory experience and at least 3-5 years of Property Accounting experience
