Description:
A leading global airline is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a high-visibility corporate safety initiative. This role will oversee the execution of a $15M+ project focused on modernizing an outdated technology operations tool used for safety and injury reporting. The Project Manager will take over once the business process redesign, currently led by an external consulting firm, is complete.

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, program reports, and risk assessments
- Oversee project execution, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery
- Engage with digital transformation leadership and provide clear, consistent project updates
- Manage cross-functional collaboration between business and technology teams
- Define and implement the appropriate project methodology, whether Agile or Waterfall
- Utilize Jira, ADO, and other project tracking tools to measure progress and performance
- Minimum of eight years of project management experience
- Strong ability to navigate both business and technology functions, ensuring alignment between the two
- Experience leading large-scale projects with budgets exceeding $15M
- Proven ability to lead workshops, present project risks, and engage with executive leadership
- PMP certification preferred
- Experience across multiple industries is welcomed; prior airline experience is not required
- Location: Chicago preferred, but not required; travel up to 15% for key workshops
- Long-term contract with benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401k)
- Ultimate goal is for this role to convert to full-time

- Interview process: Three rounds - initial screening, peer interview, and leadership interview
- Pay Range: $64 - $74 per hour (W2 Only)
