Our main North American office, located in beautiful Vancouver, BC is expanding and is seeking a Head of Strategy to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Senior Leadership team. We are seeking a strategist passionate about inspiring award-winning global work spanning campaigns, experiences and commerce. From reimagining retail experiences, to relaunching legacy brands; from big stunts blowing up social, to brand custodianship of global giants.

Our team works collaboratively in office 4 days/week, work from anywhere wednesdays, and travel within the US and Canada. The role involves:
- Being the trusted strategic leader and advisor across an exciting mix of North American clients
- Creating and stewarding big brand strategies, clearly defining them and building them over multiple campaigns/activities
- Leading end-to-end campaigns from brief, communications frameworks, phasing, role of channels and key messaging
- Being fluent in both brand thinking and experience design to deliver powerful brand experiences
- Being comfortable flexing up and down - from advising global CMO's to jamming with creatives
- Crafting verbal and visual briefs that inspire award-winning creative
- Designing, creating and running workshops with C level executives that span brand and business
- Jumping into new business opportunities by supporting proposal writing and pitch delivery
- Collaborating across borders, across teams and across partners to deliver the best work possible
- Forging relationships with internal members of senior leadership, across disciplines and departments and contribute to the national growth strategy and team development
- Advocating for the team and upskilling strategic thinking and insight generation
The must haves:
- Ability to think innovatively when approaching creative challenges
- 12+ years of experience in a fast-paced agency, working with clients in the North American market
- Demonstrated ability in crafting strategic responses
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to feedback
- Demonstrated ability presenting and articulating ideas and concepts clearly
- Lead and shape strategic responses autonomously
- The ability to work collaboratively with cross discipline teams (both lead and / or contribute)
- The passion to embrace every brief as an opportunity
- Located in Vancouver or willing to relocate to Vancouver within 6 months of start
- Legally able to work in Canada, with current passport and ability to travel nationally and internationally
