Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency and critical care to animals, ensuring high-quality treatment in urgent situations.
- Perform physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatments for patients with acute conditions.
- Administer medications and fluids while closely monitoring patient vital signs.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' conditions, diagnoses, and treatment options.
- Maintain detailed medical records for all cases.
Qualifications:
- Education: DVM degree (or equivalent) from an accredited veterinary school.
- Licensing: Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Texas.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine is preferred.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, including emergency procedures and patient care.
- Personality: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Compassionate and dedicated to animal welfare.
