Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
A Coordinating Manager is required as part of the COE Program for Increasing Child and Adolescent Outpatient Access (C/A OP). This program is intended to provide a continued level of care in a focused manner, promoting improved clinical outcomes for our patients.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Child/Adolescent Outpatient Access (C/A OP)
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to improve access to care, in collaboration with senior leadership and other stakeholders.
2. Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including clinical and administrative staff, to design, implement, and evaluate access improvement initiatives.
3. Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze complex data, including patient volume, wait times, and staff productivity, to inform access improvement initiatives.
4. Communication: Communicate access improvement initiatives and results to senior leadership, staff, and patients, and provide education and training as needed.
5. Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, including implementing new technologies or workflows, to support access improvement initiatives.
6. Quality Metrics: Develop and track key quality metrics, including patient satisfaction, wait times, and access to care, to evaluate the effectiveness of access improvement initiatives.
7. Collaboration: Foster partnerships with other departments, such as Clinical Operations, Patient Access, and IT, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of access improvement initiatives. 8. Interacts with patients, visitors, and multidisciplinary staff in a professional and courteous manner
9. Respects the religious beliefs of our patients, visitors and staff and addresses each with dignity and respect.
10. Understands the cultural difference of our clients, visitors and staff and addresses each with dignity and respect.
11. Follows our LEP policy when confronted by a LEP client and visitor.
12. Conforms to the Infection Control hand washing policy.
13. Ensures patient safety by wearing hospital issued identification at all times.
14. Faxes documents following HIPPAA regulatory requirements and Corporate Confidential Policy
15. Perform other clerical functions as needed
16. Assist all clinical staff as needed
17. Maintain office supplies
23.Interacts with patients, visitors, and multidisciplinary staff in a professional and courteous manner
Minimum Qualifications
1. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counseling; and one (1) year offull-time experience in medically-oriented health care and medical support systems environment; or
2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines listed in "1" above; and two(2)years of full-time experience in medically-oriented health care and medical support systemsenvironment; or
3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience, in which each year of relevant training and/or experience can be substituted for 30 semester credits from an accreditedcollege or university. However, all applicants must at least have a Bachelor's degree or its educational equivalent.
