We are seeking to fill a role to help develop programs and drive several workstreams on behalf of the MSR Chief Operating Officer (COO) and leadership team. As a Director, Business Program Management in Microsoft Research, you will have a pivotal role focused on building comprehensive internal communications plans, engaging with leadership and employees to implement programmatic internal engagement, and manage special projects on behalf of the COO. This role is essential for driving strategic initiatives and ensuring effective communication across the organization.

- Develop and implement a robust communications plan to enhance internal engagement.
- Collaborate with leadership to align business strategies and drive organizational goals.
- Lead and manage special projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless execution of programs and initiatives.
- Monitor and report on the progress of projects, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field AND 8+ years work experience in business program management, process management, process improvement
- OR equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 10+ years in business program management, preferably within a research or technology environment.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing communications plans.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
