Description:
Supervise a group of equipment maintenance technicians that are responsible for equipment availability and performance. Perform preventative maintenance and repair on a variety of electro-mechanical, robotic, and pneumatic manufacturing equipment. Manage workload with a positive attitude as a hands-on team player in a collaborative work environment. You will work closely with the site's Planners, Specialists, and Scheduler to ensure that planned work is well-understood by Technicians and Contractors and is safely executed according to these plans. You will also lead the planning and execution of break-in work required to keep the unit online. This position will be required to work a shifting schedule until the site is stabilized, leading multi-disciplinary crews through complex jobs with little oversight.

Responsibilities
- Provide effective supervision, training and coaching to assigned maintenance employees to achieve the required equipment up time, equipment repairs, and production goals. Maintain department records and inventories
- Ensure that standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current, accurate and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum quality
- Monitor to ensure that all employees comply with safety regulations and the plant's safety program
- Provide the shift-to-shift communication link in order to keep all team members working toward the same goals
- Lead the execution of commissioning activities across organizational boundaries, inclusive of vendor support, on-site resource balancing, tooling requirements, and utility needs
Requirements
- Evidence of exceptional ability, including a strong understanding of equipment maintenance fundamentals and demonstrated ability to leverage this understanding to solve challenging technical problems
- 5+ years of execution leadership in an industrial manufacturing environment, with experience supporting maintenance organizations in the development and execution of detailed job plans
- Experience with solids handling, rotary calcination and hydro-metallurgical equipment is a plus
- Proven ability to operate under pressure while managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, occasionally requiring extended hours and alternative shifts
- Ability to communicate clearly and interface with multiple engineering disciplines, vendors, craft experts, as well as executives
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to climb stairs, stand for extended periods, and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform frequent bending and lifting
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods, including a respirator and safety harness
- Pass pulmonary function tests and physical exam for respirator use and be prepared to potentially be in a fit test program
