Sr. Salesforce Developer

A leading innovator in the transportation and financial services industry is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Developer to join its growing team. About the Role:

As a Sr. Salesforce Developer, you will play a key role in delivering technology solutions and leveraging strong technical experience for key Salesforce initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design functional Salesforce solutions and recommend best practices based on business needs.
• Develop and configure Salesforce and Managed Packages, including data models, external integrations, and business process automation.
• Contribute to thought leadership and innovation across the platform.
• Stay updated on new Salesforce product releases and technical capabilities.
• Provide hands-on technical assistance, coaching, and mentoring to developers and junior staff.

What We Look For:

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience
• Salesforce Administrator & Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification required; Salesforce Platform Developer II preferred
• Strong experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, and SOQL queries
• Ability to build batch Apex, schedulable Apex, queueable Apex
• Experience developing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce platforms, especially Sales Cloud
• Familiarity with trigger frameworks, error logging frameworks, and test data factories
• Strong skills in optimizing code to avoid governor limits, performance tuning, and bulkification
• Proficiency with Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, web services, Java, CSS, HTML, and Lightning Web Components
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, AppExchange Products is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Agile Management tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills-this role is highly collaborative
• Self-starter with the ability to resolve issues independently
