Role descriptionWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead the transformation of an existing commercial building into a state-of-the-art Quality Control (QC) Laboratory.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 10 years of Capital Expenditure (Capex) experience, particularly in managing brownfield projects. Pharmaceutical industry experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of the QC Lab refit project, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Implement project management methodologies and best practices to maintain high-quality standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues, and escalate critical concerns as needed.
• Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Approximately 10 years of experience in Capex project management, with a focus on brownfield projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in cost, schedule, scope, and quality management.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pharmaceutical QC lab projects.
