Systems Architect - Expert
Project/Program Name:
(1) Billing and Collection System
In-house developed web application for Billing and Collection with functionalities to process cash, refund, journal entries, non-payment cancellations and reinstatements.
(2) iPAM (Integrated Policy Administration and Maintenance) System In-house developed web application for the administration and maintenance of a WC policy record during its life cycle. It consists of the following main modules - Declaration, Entity, Location, Endorsement, Broker, Change of Interest, Contacts, Cancellation and Reinstatement, and Report.
The consultant will adhere to NYSIF's application development standards, including, but not limited to, project management methodology, SDLC (software development life cycle), Enterprise Architecture standards and the IT governance process.
Day to Day Tasks:
The duties of the consulting resources would be to plan, create, modify, test and implement code in support of any of the following:
Develop Oracle stored procedure, packages, and triggers
Develop batch application using .net, oracle
Plan and design the structure of a technology solution
Communicate software requirements to app dev team members
Develop software with modern web development frameworks
Mandatory Qualifications:
Systems Architect - Defines the architecture of a computerized system (i.e., a system composed of software and hardware) in order to fulfill certain requirement, including a breakdown of the system into components, the component interactions and interfaces (including with the environment, especially the user), and the technologies and resources to be used in the design.
Expert - 84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Requested Qualifications:
- 84 months experience in development, support and implementation of software related to policy administration and maintenance for Workers' Compensation Insurance.
- 84 months experience in development, support and implementation of software related to policy billing and collection for Compensation Insurance and Disability Insurance.
- 84 months experience in development, support and implementation of software related to policy premium calculation following the Workers' Compensation Rating Board guidelines for Workers' Compensation Insurance.
- 84 months experience with Oracle PL/SQL utilizing Packages, Types, Objects, Triggers and Advanced Queuing.
- 84 months experience as a .Net application developer - TFS, visual studio with visual studio 2015 or newer.
- 84 months experience with web browser application development using Javascript, CSS, XML, Xslt, html and AJAX
- 36 months with Planview PPM Pro (formerly Innotas)
