Your Role

The Senior Manager, Compensation works with senior leadership to design, enhance, implement, manage, and communicate compensation programs, policies, and procedures for their assigned client groups that includes exempt and non-exempt associates. Consults with business leaders and HR partners on compensation programs and their applications within the respective business units.

Your Impact

  • Leads and develops a team of compensation associates.
  • Works with leadership to design, develop, and administer company's compensation plans, including base pay, and short and long-term incentive compensation plans, and recognition plans.
  • Leads the benchmarking process including merit, structure, and position movement recommendations; collaborates with the Compensation team on the administration of the annual merit and midyear process.
  • Leads the implementation of a company wide recognition program including the development of our recognition strategy.
  • Completes complex compensation analyses to inform decision-making.
  • Maintains pulse on industry, market, and legal intelligence; builds partnerships and networks with key competitors.
  • Provides guidance and consultation on compensation strategies, including offers, promotions and retention plans, for assigned client groups.
  • Partners with Legal and Compliance teams to develop programs to comply with new and existing compensation-related regulations.
  • May have oversight of international compensation programs and administration.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of labor law as it relates to benefits and payroll policies and practices.
  • Deep knowledge and ability to navigate HR-related information systems and analyze data. Advanced analytical and trouble shooting skills. Ability to improve processes, promote excellence and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Deep knowledge of and ability to interpret remuneration surveys and market data to make sound business decisions and recommendations about the design, delivery, and success of total rewards programs.
  • Advanced knowledge of and proven ability to make timely critical decisions based on analysis of the information presented from ambiguous or conflicting situations or when there is an associated risk.

Your Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communications or related field; or a combination of education and work experience that yields the minimally required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience in Human Resources in a Compensation Management role.
  • Highly proficient in Excel.
