What we're looking for:
If you are a growth oriented and entrepreneurial Civil Engineer that is looking to lead a market sector, then let's talk. We are seeking a Director of Water & Wastewater Engineering to market public sector clients in southeast Georgia. Successful candidates will have at least 10 years of experience with leading and managing the design of water/wastewater systems, treatment plants, pipelines and force mains, lift stations, pump stations, and water/wastewater master planning.

We specialize in providing professional consulting services for municipal and land development clients. Our markets include municipal, residential subdivisions and multi-family, commercial, and industrial warehouses. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
  • The ideal candidate will be able to market municipal clients, develop business, lead and manage projects related to water & wastewater.
  • Work with our team's staff including other civil engineers, planners, landscape architects, and surveyors to prepare master plans, construction documents, specifications, estimates, and reports in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work with permitting agencies, utility companies, and other stakeholders to shepherd projects towards approval.
  • Oversee the design to ensure a high quality, cost effective, and constructable project.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team with the Marketing Manager to prepare fee proposals and Statements of Qualifications.
  • Maintain frequent communication with clients and team members to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Prepare and present project updates, technical reports, and other documentation to clients, stakeholders, and the public.

Minimum Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Professional Engineer in the State of South Carolina or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Desire to be a leader in a consulting firm and take ownership of a market
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong public speaking skills, both internally and externally
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • High moral and ethical character
  • Desire to develop, train, and mentor engineering teams to insure successful project outcomes
