Head of Operations - The Roost Podcast Network

The Roost is a leading video and audio podcast network representing some of the world's top creators. As part of Night - a next-gen talent management, venture capital, and startup incubation platform - The Roost connects media, creators, and brands.

We are seeking a driven Head of Operations with experience in building and managing systems in the podcast and/or media space. This role offers an exciting opportunity to innovate and lead our operations team in a fast-growing organization. The position sits at the crossroads of podcasting, project management, and partnerships, representing leading creators to global brands and media agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage scalable systems and processes to increase efficiency across podcast sales, account management and partnerships.
  • Manage operations team and oversee day-to-day podcast logistics.
  • Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to podcast operations.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures for podcast tools.
  • Maintain and expand features of Partner Portal for creators on The Roost Roster.
  • Train and update the team in new processes.
  • Work directly with Night for sales, forecasting, and invoicing needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies related to podcasting and media operations.
  • Take on additional projects as needed to support evolving business priorities.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in podcast or media operations.
  • Expertise in project management specifically for podcast production and advertising sales.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce/Affinity.
  • Los Angeles, CA-based.
