You will be the Advanced Programs Senior Program Manager for the Tactical Missiles Advanced Programs (TMAP) team at the MFC Grand Prairie (Dallas, TX) site. Our team is responsible for leading programs and captures for the development and demonstration of various domestic and international missile programs.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Advanced Programs Senior Program Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Leader of rapid paced design, development, integration and test of long range missile system and launchers
Strong communication skills with ability to think outside of a mainstream program of record
Collaborates with Capture manager, Business Development, Engineering, Global Supply Chain and Prod Ops to secure US and International contracts.
Manages all activities of program execution including cost, schedule and technical performance.
Manages associated IRAD, Capital and B&P
Development and communication of strategic visions for key captures and programs.

Other Responsibilities Include:
Coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.
Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer.
Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited college.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead teams with varying levels of experience.
Experience in Program Management and Execution, including Earned Value Management of $30M or higher
Experience working in a weapon development environment.
High degree of flexibility and ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international).
Self-motivated and able to operate with minimal guidance and succeed in highly competitive arena.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task
Demonstrated interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop lasting customer relationships.
Proven ability to interface with company senior leadership, and external customers at all levels.
An active Secret Clearance Required

Ground Launch Army Munitions programs.

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
