Responsibilities
Gather user requirements and write code in various programming languages to assist the team in building high-quality and fully performing software that complies with coding standards.
Assist Senior Engineers in developing software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
Produce software specifications and assist the team in determining operational feasibility.
Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to assist the team in identifying software requirements and solutions.
Deploy software programs and evaluate user feedback.
Comply with project plans and industry standards.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
Designing and implementing software service architecture to support high throughput and fault tolerant services;
Developing software using Java, Go, C++, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python;
Designing and managing databases to support online services using MySQL or Redis;
Maintaining and debugging software;
Designing storage systems, including relational and non-relational databases, using SQL or related database technologies; and
Working across all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for the design, development, coding, testing, integration and deployment of complex products and platforms, including backend services and infrastructure services.
Type: Full time, 40 hours/week
Location: San Jose, CA
Salary Range: $172931 - $250000 per year
