Job Description
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist MRI
Job Specialty: MRI Technology
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 10-hour shifts (06:30 - 17:00 or 06:45 - 17:15); Weekend rotation every third week
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Two years of clinical experience
License: Must have appropriate certification in Radiography (R) and MRI (MR)
Certifications: BLS (issued by authorized provider)
Must-Have: Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology; Preferred Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Job Description:
- Perform technical imaging examinations and complex specialized procedures using a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems.
- Work independently with all patient age groups and at various locations as needed.
- Responsible for equipment maintenance and repairs, participate in quality assurance, and resolve issues related to image processing and archiving systems.
- Collaborate with staff to prioritize and organize schedules, including triage for routine and emergent procedures.
- Participate in the instruction of fellows, residents, physicians, and visiting healthcare professionals.
- May engage in clinical research activities.
- Travelers must have a permanent address 50 miles from the assigned primary worksite.
- May have shifts scheduled in multiple units based on current staffing needs or different locations within the organization.
- Orientation typically occurs every other week, beginning on Monday, unless specified otherwise.
This position requires dedication to providing exceptional care in a compassionate environment, impacting the communities we serve with over 80 primary and specialty care clinics throughout the county and the surrounding areas.
