Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Specialty: Occupational Therapy
Job Duration: 13+ weeks
Shift: Day - 5 days per week, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 40 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience:
License: Occupational Therapist License
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must-Have:
- Experience with outpatient occupational therapy, including orthopedics (hands), pediatrics, and some neurological cases
- Ability to work in rural critical access settings
- Flexibility for occasional inpatient coverage during high census periods
Job Description:
- Provide outpatient occupational therapy services, primarily in the areas of orthopedics, pediatrics, and neurology.
- Work collaboratively within a rural critical access setting to deliver patient-centered care.
- Cover inpatient therapy needs occasionally, especially during periods of high patient census.
- Use Epic for documentation and patient records.
- Work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts (typically two Saturdays in a 13-week rotation).
