Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Hybrid (St. Ann, MO)

Pay Range: $90,000 - $115,000 annual base

Reports To: Finance Director

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Finance organization and helps the business make sound financial decisions. The Analyst works with Senior Leaders on a regular basis and presents the story behind the data to help the business focus on the right things. The Senior Financial Analyst will develop a strong understanding of the business operations and system data structure to provide insightful recommendations. This role will be critical to both recurring reporting and high-visibility project work. The Analyst will work on process improvements and support key initiatives within the business. The Analyst will have the ability to zoom-in to the details within source data as well as the ability to zoom-out and see the bigger picture.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial/Cost Analysis: Provide actionable insights through data visualization and presentation of financial findings to organizational stakeholders

2. Budget and Forecast: Manage the annual budget process and on-going forecasting, monitoring and reporting on performance to both. Utilize financial modeling techniques and assess the impact of different business scenarios

3. Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office skills coupled with the ability and desire to stay current with available tools and methodology to support the business in its continued growth.

4. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department. Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

5. Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively cross-functionally and translate finance information to a wide variety of audiences Ability to be both strategic and tactical in finance and administration initiatives

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Energetic, adaptable, collaborative, and proactive
  • 5-10 years of experience in finance/accounting positions
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, financial analysis, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost management techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to effectively communicate across functions and levels


Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Planful or related Financial Analysis software experience
  • Power BI or other data visualization software experience
  • Snowflake or equivalent cloud data experience
  • CPA, CMA or MBA
