About the Role:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Reporting to the Director of Project Management or another relevant executive, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Initiation: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project team members. Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource requirements, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Resource Allocation and Management: Identify project resource needs and allocate resources effectively to ensure project success. Coordinate with resource managers to secure necessary personnel, equipment, and materials for project execution.
  • Project Execution and Monitoring: Lead project execution activities, ensuring that project tasks are completed according to schedule and quality standards. Monitor project progress, track milestones, and identify and address any deviations from the project plan.
  • Risk Management and Issue Resolution: Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans to address potential issues and minimize project disruptions. Proactively identify and resolve project issues and conflicts to keep the project on track and within scope.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, progress, and milestones. Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and reviews to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Establish and maintain quality standards for project deliverables, conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance. Implement quality assurance processes and tools to monitor and measure project performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Project Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports. Prepare and present project status reports and presentations to stakeholders and project sponsors as required.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in project management or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies is a plus.
