Provides comprehensive coaching and mentoring on Montessori philosophy and pedagogy to principals, emphasizing leadership development, operational management, and effective instructional practices to build their capacity for success; offers actionable strategies and tailored guidance to address a wide range of challenges, foster professional growth, and drive meaningful improvements in school operations and culture; actively collaborates with and advises principals on specific projects, initiatives, and long-term strategic goals designed to enhance overall school performance, promote innovative solutions, and improve student outcomes across diverse learning environments; identifies and cultivates emerging leadership potential within Montessori/Magnet schools to support succession planning for critical staff roles.

Qualifications

Required
  • Master's degree.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a teacher, administrator, or supervisor role, some of which shall have been as a school administrator.
    • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
  • Postgraduate educational license with endorsement(s) designated as appropriate to the assignment.
  • Administration and supervision PreK-12 endorsement.
  • Knowledge of educational philosophy and practices required to support student achievement and foster school transformation.
  • Knowledge of school administration, curriculum, and instruction to address academic and operational needs effectively.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations, legislation, and policies to ensure compliance and alignment with division objectives.
  • Knowledge of leadership development practices to cultivate the skills and effectiveness of school leaders.
  • Knowledge of professional development principles and techniques for designing and delivering impactful training for school leaders and staff.
  • Familiarity with technology and data-driven strategies for compiling, analyzing, and reporting information to inform decisions.
  • Demonstrated competency in developing and leading professional development sessions for school leaders and instructional staff.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent human relations skills and ability to establish and maintain a successful cooperative working relationship with appropriate school communities and school-based and central office staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop leadership skills of others.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate programs and initiatives that support school leaders and instructional priorities.
  • Ability to supervise and evaluate personnel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred
  • Montessori Credential
  • Experience in delivering professional education.
  • Leadership experience in Montessori education.
