Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab
Job Specialty: Cath Lab
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required
License: KY compact license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification required
Must-Have:
- Must live within 100 miles of the facility
- Must have housing within 30 minutes for STEMI (heart attack) call
Job Description:
- Provide direct patient care, including conscious sedation and monitoring with documentation using the new Hemodynamic system from Change Health Care.
- Operate during business hours from Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, with a rotating day off during the week.
- Expectation of 8 to 10 on-call days per month, with a typical rotation of one night per week (05:30 PM to 07:00 AM) and on-call every third weekend from Friday 05:30 PM through Saturday and Sunday.
- Work closely with a call team consisting of 2 RNs and 1 Radiologic Technologist.
- Collaborate within a close-knit team, consisting of a mix of Radiology Technologists and RNs.
- Scrubs and a lead apron for cases will be provided.
