We are looking for an Information Security Principal Engineer. The Principal Engineer in Information Security possesses in-depth expertise in information security management practices, regulatory requirements, industry standards, frameworks, and security engineering concepts. This role entails managing multiple projects effectively to align with strategic objectives and deadlines. The individual will plan, execute, and implement complex enterprise architecture and security measures, leveraging their vast knowledge across various technical disciplines and business areas.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently initiating and executing assignments, applying extensive expertise to develop long-term enterprise solutions that align with organizational needs and objectives.
• Enhancing information management strategies by understanding evolving business requirements and ensuring project alignment with overall business and DTS strategy.
• Designing and planning service lines while managing risks related to information and technology assets in compliance with established security standards and policies.
• cting as the SME to understand clinical and business applications within the organization, aiding stakeholders in identifying their information protection requirements.
• Collaborating with other architects to create consensus-based enterprise solutions that are scalable and adaptable to changing business landscapes.
• Working with a matrixed team of DTS professionals to support enterprise architecture and information security operations, which includes identity and access management, cloud identity management, security information and event monitoring, and more.
• Leading or supporting initiatives related to information security standards, business continuity, and change management, along with educating management on relevant security topics such as Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in relevant fields, encompassing one to two IT disciplines (technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management, or operations) within a multitier environment.
• t least six (6) years of experience in information security, regulatory compliance, and risk management practices.
• minimum of three (3) years of experience in Identity and Access Management, user provisioning, Role-Based Access Control, or control self-assessment methodologies, along with security awareness training.
• Familiarity with cloud and/or virtualization technologies.
• t least three (3) years working with high-performance teams in a matrixed environment.
• Hands-on experience in implementing information security projects.
• Proficiency with security logging and monitoring technologies, such as security incident and event management (SIEM) and managed detection and response (MDR) solutions. Experience with Microsoft technologies is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) and cloud service providers.
• Strong governance experience over security initiatives, particularly in security logging.
