Title : Senior Ansible Developer

Location: Remote from LATAM
Responsibilities:

Support the migration of existing workflows to Ansible Playbooks for managing Windows and Linux machines currently being run on a 3rd party platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing workflows and automation scripts for Windows and Linux systems.
• Develop, test, and deploy Ansible Playbooks or Ansible Workflows to automate operational tasks, including patching, compliance, configuration, and software, observability tasks.
• Integrate Ansible workflows/playbooks with 3rd party tools like ServiceNow, Splunk, and external databases, therefore experience working with APIs is a must.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and document workflows.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and create detailed documentation for the internal team. Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in writing and managing Ansible Playbooks for both Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of Ansible modules, particularly for Windows (win_*) and Linux (file, package, service).
• Experience with the Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), and Event Driven Ansible.
• Strong understanding in at least 2 of the following scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience working with YAML or JSON.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating Ansible into DevOps workflows.
• Knowledge of Windows or Linux server administration, including patching, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Experience working with external data sources, pulling data for dynamic inventories from databases or APIs.
• Familiarity with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Understanding integrating Ansible with external tools like ServiceNow, Splunk, and monitoring platforms.
