The Team
We are seeking a Microsoft Enterprise Solutions Engineer to join our IT team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise-level solutions within the Microsoft technology stack. The ideal candidate will oversee full life cycle implementations-from gathering business requirements to testing and deployment-while ensuring scalability, innovation, and cost-effectiveness. This position is part of the Microsoft Enterprise Solutions Team within IT Engineering and reports to the Microsoft Enterprise Solutions Leader.

How you will contribute
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and support of Microsoft Enterprise Solutions and roadmap, ensuring continuous improvement through business process automation and optimization.
  • Support governance frameworks to ensure compliance with firm policies, data residency requirements, and industry standards.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft 365 solutions, providing Level 3 (L3) support and contributing to project initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including stakeholder communications, knowledge base articles, internal procedures, project plans, and change management requests.
  • Establish and maintain monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track system usage, governance compliance, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay current with emerging Microsoft 365 capabilities and related technologies to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, Viva Suite, and third-party tools such as AvePoint and ShareGate.
  • Strong technical and business acumen, with a balanced understanding of solution lifecycle management.
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise environments; previous experience in a professional services or consulting firm is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
  • Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Willingness to take on tasks beyond core responsibilities and adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The salary range is $85,000 - $115,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details

Full-time Positions and Part-time Positions Over 30 hours

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined periodically as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their 401(k) retirement savings plan from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave.
