Description:

As the founding manager for athlete mentors using Athlete To Athlete's marketplace, you will own the entire customer lifecycle-from sourcing and onboarding new mentors to providing ongoing support, training, and performance analytics. In this highly collaborative role, you will work closely with Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Product teams to shape and scale the Athlete To Athlete Mentor community. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will serve as the cornerstone for building a vibrant, effective, and engaged mentor network that drives the success of the Athlete To Athlete marketplace.

$100,000 - $105,000 a year

Key Responsibilities:

Sourcing New Mentors:Identify and recruit high-quality mentors who align with Athlete To Athlete's values and mission.Develop and execute strategies to expand the mentor base, including outreach, networking, and leveraging partnerships.

Onboarding Mentors:Design and implement a comprehensive onboarding process to ensure mentors are effectively integrated into the platform.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create onboarding materials and resources that communicate expectations, guidelines, and best practices.

Managing the Mentor Lifecycle:Manage existing mentor community on Athlete To AthleteOversee ongoing engagement and eventual offboarding.Ensure a smooth transition between different lifecycle phases by setting clear milestones and check-in points.

Resources and Training:Develop and deliver training programs and resource materials to empower mentors with the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.Stay up-to-date with trends and incorporate best practices into training sessions and resource updates.

Mentor Analytics:Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to mentor engagement, performance, and satisfaction.Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies, optimize processes, and report on the health and growth of the mentor network.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and derive actionable insights.

Self-motivated and adaptable, with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for fostering professional growth.

Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and adapt to evolving business needs.

Prior experience as a former collegiate athlete a plus
