Basic Function:

This position is responsible for maximizing Baggallini sales on Amazon. Collaborates with various areas including marketing/creative services, finance, product development/merchandising, demand planning, and customer service to ensure maximum sales are reached. Responsible for developing all direct reports in areas of expertise, setting and helping Team Member to achieve goals, providing feedback and determining and arranging development opportunities.

Specific Responsibilities:
1. Achieves targeted wholesale plan annually by driving retail sales performance.
2. Optimizes AMS campaigns, product detail pages (PDPs), A+ content, and catalog management.
3. Manages inventory levels across multiple SKUs to ensure optimal stock positions, especially during key selling periods (September through December).
4. Achieves targeted gross margin (GM) goals annually by managing inventory mix and maximizing GM% across categories.
5. Monitors the website for third-party violators and unhealthy matched retails.
6. Ensures the team meets targeted average unit retail (AUR) goals on Amazon, allowing for increased costs.
7. Oversees AMS spend, inventory investment, and other key metrics.
8. Develops and manages multiple direct reports, ensuring their development and preparing them for future promotions.
9. Collaborates with cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, and product development to align strategies and achieve business objectives.
10. Analyzes customer feedback and market trends to identify opportunities for product improvements and new product development.
11. Identifies potential risks to the Amazon business and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.

Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Requires an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience working directly with Amazon retail, or equivalent.
    2. Experience with Amazon Seller is a plus but not required.
    3. Must have prior management experience of at least 2+ years with multiple direct reports.
    4. Handbag experience preferred but not required.
    5. Requires strong retail math background.
    6. Needs to have strong computer skills in systems like Excel, Sigma, Analytic Index, and Helium10.
    6. Must have inventory planning, forecasting, and management experience.
    7. Ability to travel as needed.

  • *This Role is NOT a remote role. You must be able to be in the Boston Corporate office 3 days per week.*
