Part of MMGY Global, MMGY TravelDesk is an integrated programmatic and digital advertising business specializing in travel. TravelDesk blends programmatic strategy with innovative data and creative products to deliver highly successful campaigns for global travel clients.

We have an immediate opening for a Senior Media Strategist - Programmatic in our Chicago, IL office.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as the senior point of contact for programmatic, presenting TravelDesk to MMGY Media teams and driving the programmatic strategies and capabilities of TravelDesk across MMGY's US and UK-based clients.
  • Act as the strategic expert in programmatic working with media leadership and media planners to define frameworks and campaigns that hit clients KPI's and business objectives.
  • Answer RFPs, develop and present proactive domestic and international programmatic campaign ideas - including digital display, mobile, native, video, connected TV, audio and digital out-of-home.
  • Work closely with MMGY's media team and TravelDesk's technical operations. and campaign management teams
  • Management and development US programmatic strategy team
  • Cross-selling and up-selling TravelDesk's products and services to MMGY media teams and existing client base.
  • Explore Programmatic Partners/Vendors to create best-in-class solutions.
  • Key Role in supporting TravelDesk Forecasting for both US and UK-based clients.


Responsibilities

  • Must be a self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast-moving environment where initiative and innovative thinking are actively encouraged.
  • Relationship management experience is essential. Having the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and marketing personnel at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed for internal client and publisher/vendor relationship management.
  • Minimum 6+ years in programmatic campaign planning and strategy/consulting either agency, client or vendor side.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of programmatic advertising technologies and buying structures.
  • Experience working with data partners, vendors and publishers to deliver innovative and best in class programmatic solutions.
  • Organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Preferred but not essential. Experience in the Travel and Tourism industry.

Salary Range 75-95k
