Provide a short description of the Position:
The goal of the MMR initiative is to ensure a comprehensive review of factors leading to maternal deaths in NYS, and to have sufficient information to develop strategies and interventions to decrease the risk of deaths.
Provide a list of the day-to-day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate:
"Monitor functionality of the upload of new linked data from Vital Statistics and new hospital records from the Statewide Planning and Research Cooperative System.
Design and implementation of modifications to database and data collection fields.
Maintenance, enhancement, designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning.
Maintain and ensure database integrity.
Generate reports.
Conduct queries as requested. "
