Overview

Targeted Victory is looking for individuals with education, interest, and experience in Public Affairs, Strategic Communications, and Reputation Management to join our team as a Managing Director on the Corporate team. This individual must be a self-starter with a keen attention to detail, an eye for design, and a knack for writing.

Responsibilities

• Leverage expertise in strategic communications to develop and execute effective media strategies
• Develop and execute campaign plans, including creative/production and social media projects
• Prepare and present client-facing reports and memos
• Manage media, and digital operational budgets
• Oversee technical projects, such as website edits or maintenance of Targeted Victory's
• Oversee day-to-day activities for multiple clients with the assistance of several support team members
• Manage support team members and collaborate with other client leads to help provide guidance and leadership to client strategy teams
• Deliver updates on client dynamics, team operations, and other relevant information to the company's senior leadership

Qualifications

This position is for individuals who are self-starters driven to follow new marketing trends and opportunities, and should have:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Should have an established network of relationships with national and/or right-of-center press and media outlets
• Possess a strong background in crafting messaging and managing media relations to drive engagement and impact
• Previous management experience preferred
• Ability to manage multiple teams and clients
• Minimum of five+ years of previous political or communications experience in a Capitol Hill office or in a campaign or agency environment
• Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Outstanding verbal and written communications
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• High level of motivation and ability to thrive in campaign-style work environment
• Willing to work flexible hours and be responsive when necessary
• Ability to meet client deadlines and navigate high-pressure situations
• Team player, leader, and eager to help where needed
• Ability to grasp new skills quickly
