Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager oversees the direction, completion, and financial success of assigned construction projects. This role involves leading and managing a team of high-performing project managers, assistant project managers, and project engineers to deliver outstanding results for clients, adhering to our company values. Additionally, the position focuses on building and strengthening relationships with current and potential customers, fostering new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee multiple electrical construction projects concurrently, including new construction, commercial buildings, schools, hospitals, solar energy installations, and service/maintenance projects. Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure all project specifications and requirements are met.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project standards.
  • Utilize Lean principles to optimize project efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Oversee the production tracking process to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years experience in project management, preferably in electrical construction.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager with a strong understanding of construction management processes.
  • Familiarity with civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Ability to read construction documents including plan set and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
