POSITION SUMMARY
A premier fine jewelry retailer is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and elevate their sales team. This role is designed to enhance team performance, drive revenue growth, and create an exceptional client experience.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and results-driven sales leader with a strong background in luxury jewelry and timepieces, including bridal jewelry. This individual will oversee a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, motivation, and strategic leadership to optimize individual and team performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Leadership & Performance
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed team and individual sales targets.
Lead, coach, and inspire a team of eight sales professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and motivation.
Implement daily, weekly, and monthly performance tracking, identifying trends and coaching opportunities.
Assess the sales team's strengths and areas for improvement, making strategic staffing and performance decisions as needed.
Client Engagement & Relationship Building
Enhance clienteling efforts, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience for every customer.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships, driving repeat business and referrals.
Implement best practices for high-end retail client engagement, including VIP and high-net-worth customer experiences.
Store Operations & Inventory Management
Oversee inventory management and merchandising, ensuring optimal product presentation and stock levels.
Work closely with management to align inventory with customer demand and sales trends.
Ensure daily operations run seamlessly, maintaining a high-energy, well-organized showroom environment.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
Leadership & Sales Expertise
5+ years of sales management experience in high-end or luxury retail, preferably in fine jewelry or timepieces.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team to exceed revenue targets.
Strong expertise in clienteling, customer experience, and sales strategy execution.
Experience managing commission-based sales teams and performance-based incentives.
Jewelry & Watch Industry Knowledge
Working knowledge of bridal jewelry and luxury watches.
Understanding of high-end sales techniques, inventory management, and merchandising.
GIA certification is a plus but not required.
Technology & Systems Proficiency
Experience with team accountability tools, Client Book (clienteling tool), and The Edge (POS system) preferred.
Comfortable utilizing sales and CRM software to track performance and improve results.
Work Ethic & Team Fit
Passionate about luxury retail and fine jewelry, with a focus on customer experience and sales performance.
Organized, strategic, and highly motivated to take the store's performance to the next level.
Strong decision-making skills, capable of assessing team performance and making staffing decisions as needed.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT & CONDITIONS

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base Salary: $100,000+ per year based on experience.
