The Endicott New Product Development group is looking for a motivated and self-directed Manufacturing Engineer to join the team to support the build our emerging product set for Aircraft Electrification and Military Avionics. The candidate will be responsible for designing manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment ownership and optimization, creating and updating manufacturing work instructions in compliance with Engineering drawings. The candidate will work directly with the manufacturing assembly team to support and solve problems holding up production as well as supporting the various manufacturing processes utilized to produce Energy Storage Systems and flight controls.
As a manufacturing engineer, you will also work with the team to improve manufacturing processes, develop and implement process control techniques into manufacturing environments. Additionally, the candidate will lead teams with other manufacturing engineers, assembly personnel and supervisors to drive and implement continuous improvement (Lean) activities within the department.

Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor's degree and 3-4 years relevant experience.
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as work within a team environment.
Preferred Skills and Education
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Electronics Assembly Experience
- Experience working with High Voltage/High Power Assemblies
- Six Sigma experience or training/Lean manufacturing experience
- Experience working in a collaborative, team-based environment
