Minimum Salary: $136,055.00
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Accountable for oversight and coordination of Early Childhood programs and staff functions in the Early Childhood and Special Education Services Department. This includes line supervision of assigned staff to ensure program effectiveness, support of staff, coordination of programs and services, and promotion of effective teamwork. Participates actively as a member of the Leadership Team.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Education Required: Master's degree in education or School Leadership; Doctorate preferred
Certification Required: Supervisor of Special Education and Supervisor of Early Childhood; Principal or Superintendent Letter of Eligibility
Experience Required: Ten years in the special education field with five years of progressively responsible experience in supervision, administration and management. At least five years of experience in Early Childhood Education desired.
Other Qualifications: Management skills, development skills, commitment builder, leadership, organization.
