Job Summary
As a part of the broader Corporate Treasury team, this position will lead the planning, development, and reporting of the Company's Resolution Planning efforts. The successful candidate will leverage their background in strategic finance, audit, treasury risk, and/or project management to lead the Company's efforts in developing an effective resolution plan that will be leveraged for both BAU and regulatory submissions. The position will be responsible for facilitating data gathering and analysis across multiple lines of businesses to aid in the planning process. The role will develop a deep understanding of the Bank's core lines of businesses and material asset portfolios along with the financial and operational links between them.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum Experience:
Eight (8) years of financial analysis, project management, and/or audit experience within a banking, consulting, or audit environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.Big Four experience strongly preferred. Management experience preferred.

Job Summary

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as subject matter expert in the development and ongoing support of Synovus' Resolution Plan management framework, including Plan documentation and the ongoing submission of information/data. Develops standard processes for financial and organizational reporting for RRP documentation, including a robust procedure, control, and testing framework. Works with key stakeholders to manage project workstream timelines and deliverables.
- Works cross-functionally with multiple lines of business to develop an enterprise-wide understanding of the Company while working with parties to understand business needs, document processes, and keep the overall project on-track for submission. Makes recommendatons to BAU processes based on regulatory requirements and feedback around Resolution Planning. Provides feedback to stakeholders based on regulatory guidance and validation/testing results.
- Develops and delivers presentations that can effectively and efficiently communicate to key stakeholders and external parties. Leads meetings with designated workstreams, internal audit, and regulatory agencies. Possesses the abilities to communicate complex financial issues in a clear and concise manner to senior managers as well as internal and external auditors, and regulators. Provides leadership, directly or indirectly, to both internal and external parties in order to achieve sucess within Resolution Planning.
- Maintains Resolution Plan working group materials, timelines, and deliverables. Ensures proper governance of key Plan decisions.
- As a part of the broader Corporate Treasury team, conducts highly complex technical analyses of the enterprise's financial performance and produces balance sheet, income statement, and capital information in support of an effective Treasury function. Develops efficiencies to enhance the accounting/finance function of the Bank.
- Participates in performing specialized financial or planning functions such as reporting, budgeting and analysis. Prepares, maintains, analyzes and reports on organizational, business unit or departmental budgets as requested.
- May cross train with others within Finance, as appropriate.
- Manages the annual performance management and merit processes for direct and indirect reports. Coaches and develops team members and builds a work environment where team members are engaged and feel a positive sense of achievement about their role in the company. Works closely with Human Resources regarding employee relations, compensation, training, posting and filling vacant positions and other Human Resources related matters.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Experience developing and leading a process and control framework, preferably in a bank regulatory or audit environment
- Advanced project management skills with the ability to manage multiple project plans with varying timelines across several stakeholders
- Experience presenting materials to a broad group of Management that effectively summarizes complex information to elicit challenge or feedback
- General understanding of bank operations and bank financial statements
- Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers on various levels
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products
