Job Title: Human Capital Project Manager
Reports To: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Human Capital Project Manager to join our Human Resources team. Reporting directly to the CHRO, the Human Capital Project Manager will be responsible for leading and executing cross-functional HR-related initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment and successful delivery. This individual will work closely with the CHRO's direct reports, cross-functional teams, facilities and external vendors to facilitate the roll-out of key projects and programs, ensuring they meet the organization's goals, timelines, and budget requirements.

The ideal candidate is an experienced project manager with a deep understanding of human resources operations, excellent organizational skills, exceptional proactive communication, and the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a collaborative leader who thrives in a high-visibility, executive-driven environment and has a proven track record of successful HR project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management Leadership:

    • Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic HR projects, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and HR strategy.
    • Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables, working closely with CHRO, senior HR leadership, and other key stakeholders.
    • Establish detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and budgets; track project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure successful and timely delivery.
    • Effectively manage resources, including HR team members, cross-functional teams, and external vendors, to ensure project success.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Partner with HR leadership, business unit leaders, and functional teams to drive initiatives that impact multiple areas of the organization, including Workforce Management and labor analytics, talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, and HR technology.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of initiatives that impact organizational culture, employee experience, and workforce development.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for various project teams, providing leadership, guidance, and support across all phases of the project lifecycle.

  • Vendor Management and External Partnerships:

    • Engage with third-party vendors, consultants, and external partners to ensure successful delivery of HR-related projects and solutions.
    • Partner with external vendors, ensuring quality deliverables and alignment with company goals.

  • Executive Reporting and Communication:

    • Regularly report project status, key milestones, risks, and recommendations to the CHRO and senior leadership team.
    • Prepare and present executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations, ensuring clear and concise communication of progress and outcomes.
    • Ensure executive stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Risk Management and Issue Resolution:

    • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, issues, and obstacles, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to project timelines.
    • Implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new HR programs and initiatives across the organization.

  • Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:

    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of completed projects and initiatives, identifying areas for continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
    • Share insights, lessons learned, and best practices with the HR team and the broader organization to drive ongoing improvements in HR project management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • PMP or other project management certification highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in human resources function.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects and initiatives across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, systems, and practices (e.g., talent management, organizational development, learning and development, compensation, employee engagement).
  • Experience working with external vendors, consultants, and partners to deliver HR solutions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage Projects using ServiceNow extensively, adding and managing Tasks and resources.
  • Scheduling meetings with appropriate attendees, documenting meeting minutes and storing all documentation in an IT supported repository.
  • Developing strong partnerships with internal and external customers and peers


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates degree in related field or direct and applicable work experience, preferred IT related or Business Degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of prior IT and/or Healthcare-related experience, or Project Management experience. Preferred prior revenue cycle or supply chain experience is a strong plus.
  • Valid Drivers License
