We have an excellent opportunity for a Murex Support Engineer to join our Global Team in New York!

Requirements:

• Strong Murex background
• Provide Level 1 (L1) support to Middle Office, Settlements, Confirmations, and Collateral teams.
• Debug and solve issues raised by the business in a timely manner.
• Triage and raise priority of issues accordingly if a bug is found and provide suitable workarounds to the various teams.
• Strong organization skills and a proactive approach to problem solving. Prioritizing tasks in accordance with impact to daily operations.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income Derivate and Equity Derivative products.
• Provide L2 support by proposing or developing fixes for bugs found.
• Proficiency with unix necessary to search log files for errors.
• Ability to query database with SQL.
• Experience with Markitwire, Marginsphere and Bloomberg.
• Expertise in Murex workflows, OSP, Deliverables, Collateral Module and Datamart.
• Familiarity with EOD batch processes an advantage.

Salary Range: $135k-175k USD
