Senior House Counsel Manager - Insurance Defense

As a senior house counsel manager, you will lead the operation of our Louisiana house counsel organization. You will provide guidance to managers, supervisors, attorneys, and staff in the reporting offices. You will partner with various stakeholders and business partners to build consensus and provide strategic direction for your team. Louisiana Bar membership in good standing is a requirement of this position.

Location: Metairie, LA is preferred but open to any location in Louisiana. This is a hybrid role.

Must-have qualifications:

• Juris doctor degree or Master of Laws (LLM) and a minimum of 8 years general/auto civil litigation experience.
• Admitted to practice law in at least one state.
• This position requires a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• This position requires compliance with Progressive's driving standards and/or policies

Preferred skills:

• Strong people leadership and strategic management experience
• Proven ability to manage a process, influence and set strategic direction
• Demonstrates ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external business groups and communicate to a diverse group of people

Compensation

• Salary range: $171,275 - $201,500
• Gainshare bonus up to 50% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
• Participation in our restricted stock units plan
