BAE Systems is looking for an experienced DevSecOps engineer to develop automated pipelines for data center/cloud environments and support automated build, test and release deployments.

BAE Systems is looking for an experienced DevSecOps engineer to develop automated pipelines for data center/cloud environments and support automated build, test and release deployments.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, write and deliver Infrastructure as Code software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of the network
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Cloud Native development
- Build automated DevOps pipelines using tools like GitLab
- Develop jobs for the deployment of various artifacts that constitute an application on a container-based environment such as Docker
- Participate in development of advanced CI / CD processes to support deployments
- Participate in design and architecture discussions and build environments using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible
- Work extensively to deploy applications on Kubernetes clusters in our on-premises cloud environment
- Automate repetitive tasks to eliminate toil and drive consistency + repeatability
- Actively participate in incident response and root-cause analysis, support a blameless post-mortems culture

Required Skills and Education
- Must hold an active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain SCI clearance
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/technical discipline and 6 to 8+ years of relevant experience
- Experience using DevSecOps tools such as GitLab, GitOps, Bitbucket, CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, Fortify, Sonarqube, Chef/Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration/management tools
- Understanding of AWS cloud services
- Experience working with appropriate scripting languages and operating systems software (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git
- Experience with Agile development and issue tracking systems, such as JIRA
- Experience with UNIX and/or Linux
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Preferred Skills and Education
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance
- Security+ 8570 certification
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- AWS or similar Cloud Provider Experience
- Solid understanding of Message Service NATS, Kafka, Redis
- Strong Linux and Networking background
- Software development experience with C++/Java
