Duties: Location: Onsite US - CA - Fremont and Menlo Park CA after June 2025 Experince: 8+ Years Key Points:Knowledge of Hardware ServersTest planning and executionError Injection aspect of HardwareAny advanced understanding with AI/MLNetworking on data center environmentIn dept understanding of architecture from server system perspective RESPONSIBILITIESLead new product introduction and associated processes for the successful launch of new hardware platforms into our data centers globally.Lead architecture reviews with hardware engineering teams to analyze and develop diagnostic coverage plans for both hardware and softwareLead hardware reviews and drive system Design for Serviceability requirements to ensure form, fit and function for new hardware development in our existing data center environment/architectureLead the development and execution of Data Center readiness tooling validation testing based on tooling development plansEarly engagement with design development teams (both internal and external) to drive improvements and influence hardware and tooling architectureCollaborate with cross functional teams & development partners to deliver aligned new hardware platform roadmaps and gain agreement on implementation milestonesCollaborate with cross functional partners in Data Center Operations team to understand infrastructure deployment and operational requirementsCollaborate with Production Engineers, Hardware Validation Engineers, Tooling Automation Engineers, and Data Center Operations Engineers to build thorough test strategy and test plans for validating the software needed for Data Center OperationsWork with ODM/OEM vendors as needed to define the product specifications, development plans & test plansCapturing lessons learned for issues in Production and creating test cases to address those issues in future hardware platformsExperience triaging, testing, developing, and debugging hardware platforms.Demonstrated technical skills and experience creating documentation for users of all levels. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBS engineering or commensurate technical experience5+ years of experience in system administration or engineering, hardware validation testing and/or acceptance testing of AI/ML, compute, storage or networking equipment Strong communications skills and demonstrated ability to influence cross functional teams Strong interpersonal skills and a solution-oriented attitudeExperience developing test plan derived from specifications and executing to those plans using industry standard testing tools for successful completion Strong technical aptitude demonstrated by familiarity with ASIC, compute, storage & network architecture and components, hardware troubleshooting and diagnosis capabilities, and/or hardware manufacturingExperience working in a cross-cultural environment with remote teamsExperience coding in higher-level languages (e.g., Python, PHP, C++, or Java)Experience learning software, frameworks and APIsExperience with operational validation methods and verification activities for the new product integration.Build strong cross functional relationships and have the ability to influence policies & procedures to improve the integration of hardware platforms into the data center
