Tesla's Global Logistics team is seeking a Logistics Finance Analyst to provide financial audit and analytical support. This role involves acquiring, consolidating, auditing, and facilitating payment approval for freight invoices while collaborating with Finance on transportation contracts, cost accruals, and invoice payments. The analyst will support timely audit and payment of logistics invoices, assist Finance in the monthly and quarterly close processes, and develop key financial metrics to track logistics cost performance. Additionally, this position will contribute to process automation, data analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Audit, consolidate, and approve freight invoices for payment processing
- Collaborate with Finance on transportation contracts, cost accruals, and invoice payments
- Support the timely audit and payment of logistics invoices
- Assist Finance with logistics-related data during monthly and quarterly close processes
- Develop and maintain key metrics and dashboards on freight invoice payments and logistics cost performance
- Design and implement analytical models to extract insights and optimize financial processes
- Track and improve KPIs related to logistics payment systems and cost efficiency
- Identify and execute opportunities to automate and streamline financial processes
- Conduct logistics data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field, and 1+ years of experience in analytics, finance, supply chain, or equivalent experience
- Experience with financial and accounting concepts in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Tableau
- Experience with VBA, R, or Python for data analysis preferred
- Familiarity with logistics data analysis and financial reporting
- Understanding of purchasing processes, including SOPs, RFQs, POs, and invoicing

$60,000 - $132,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
