North American region sales management for all aspects of Surface Aluminum Technologies (SAT) systems and standard product sales including agent and distributor sales development. The manager has the responsibility to lead in the identification and growth of new sales opportunities for SAT within the North American market (Canada, USA & Mexico). The manager will coordinate with both local and International sales teams to leverage activities worldwide.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.

What You Will Do at Graco
- Develop direct customer relationships; solicit orders, promotion and development of sales strategy to meet sales targets both direct and with distribution (60%)
- Coordination of promotional activities locally including areas such as association support, extrusion manufacturing/finishing, exhibitions and conferences (20%)
- Provide support and input for NA Sales Area Manager, including monthly report outlining networking lead opportunities and sales opportunities (10%)
- Support of national and international sales meetings or marketing events, local distributor sales events, networking and territory development (10%)
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring to Graco
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field or 3+ years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in the finishing industry (systems integration or powder coating preferred) and / or in the aluminum industry (extrusions preferred) from both a sales and operational viewpoint
- Powder application experience is desirable such as faade, window or door manufacturing and finishing requirements, but not required
- Familiarity with computers and comfortable with presentation software, spreadsheets and word management programs
- Demonstrable self-management capability and market development skills
- Good organizational, communication and negotiating skills
- Previous experience with distribution or distribution management preferred
- Value selling and technical sales training preferred
- Additional technical background beneficial
- Willingness to travel as required to meet customer and business needs (occasional travel globally)
- Ability to read and communicate with all aspects of the organization, and vendors, some international. Ability to speak Spanish a plus but not required.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume must be able to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where most items are standardized. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
