Summary/Objective
The Lead Logistics Manager is responsible for the comprehensive oversight of logistics functions within defense-related simulation and training programs. This role requires strategic planning, effective resource management, and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure that all logistical aspects align with program goals and regulatory requirements. The manager will lead a team of logistics professionals, drive process improvements, and maintain compliance with industry standards.

This position manages and leads projects and teams from diverse disciplines. Will directly manage others.
Work Environment, Programs, and Tools
This position operates in a closed office environment and requires an individual to walk, stand, sit, use hands/fingers to type, talk, listen and look. Reliable internet and connectivity to frequently meet on remote video platforms.
Required knowledge of the following tools, equipment, and programs includes: laptop, phone, scanner/printer/fax, Microsoft Office Suite such as SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Project, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Proficiency in using contract lifecycle management tools to manage contract processes efficiently. Utilization of Enterprise Resource Planning systems to manage subcontractor data and financials.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is located at the program site in Altus AFB, OK. Core business hours will adhere to the program site operation hours in the Eastern Time Zone.
This position is full time salaried exempt, expected to work no less than 80 hours a payroll period. This position may require evening/weekend work and work outside of the typical work hours as needed.
Travel
Must be able and willing to travel 5% to various locations to support Government, Program and subcontractor meetings.
Security Clearance
Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one within 6-months of employment.

- Direct and manage all logistics activities, including procurement, inventory management, distribution, and transportation, to ensure efficient program support.
- Supervise and mentor logistics personnel, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
- Collaborate with program managers, engineering teams, and external partners to align logistics strategies with program requirements and timelines.
- Develop and implement logistics plans that effectively allocate resources, manage budgets, and meet program milestones.
- Ensure all logistics operations adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and contractual obligations.
- Identify potential logistics challenges and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on program execution.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics processes, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Oversee the planning and execution of facility logistics, including space management and equipment setup, to support program activities.

- Skilled in negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors and partners to secure favorable terms and services.
- Knowledgeable in logistics management software and tools relevant to the defense industry.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Logistics Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably within the defense or aerospace industry.
- Prior experience with Department of Defense (DoD) contracts and simulation training programs is highly desirable.
- In-depth understanding of logistics principles, supply chain management, and familiarity with DoD logistics policies and procedures.
